Most companies do not have a shooting problem. They have a hard drive with nine months of unedited material on it and nobody with a free afternoon.
Premier Design Agency edits video for brands across the USA. Send the raw files and get back a finished cut, graded, captioned and sized for wherever it is going. We work per video or on a monthly retainer, and the retainer is where most clients end up once they see how much they were not publishing.

We will tell you when something needs reshooting rather than rescuing
Editing fixes pacing, structure, colour and sound within limits. It does not fix audio recorded next to an air conditioning unit, or a shot that is soft because focus was missed. Plenty of editors will spend eight billable hours making that footage slightly less bad. We would rather watch your files first, tell you honestly what can be saved, and let you decide whether a reshoot is cheaper than the rescue. That call costs you nothing.

Six passes on every cut, whether it is a 40 minute podcast or a 15 second clip.
Assembly and pacing
The cut itself. Dead air, repeated takes and the throat clearing all go, and the story gets an order that holds attention past the first ten seconds.
Colour grading
Colour grading services covering exposure, white balance and a consistent look across clips shot on different days, cameras or phones.
Audio cleanup
Room noise reduced, levels matched between speakers, music ducked under dialogue and the whole mix checked on a phone speaker rather than headphones.
Captions and subtitles
Video subtitling and captioning services with burned in captions for social and a separate subtitle file for your site and YouTube, both proofread by a person.
Titles and graphics
Lower thirds, name plates, section titles and end cards built from your brand colours and type so every video looks like it came from the same company.
Formats and cutdowns
Widescreen master plus vertical and square versions, exported at the right bitrate for each platform instead of one file uploaded everywhere.

A short form or a five minute call. Length, tone, where it is going and anything that must stay in or come out.

First cut
You get a timestamped review link. Comment on the video itself instead of writing an email full of timecodes.

Revisions
Two rounds included. Most cuts need one, and retainer clients usually stop needing any after the first month.

Delivery

Questions clients ask before sending footage

How much does video editing cost?
From $450 for a single cut up to 10 minutes finished, or $2,400 a month for eight cuts on a retainer, which works out cheaper per video. Campaign work with advanced grading and custom graphics starts at $6,000. The number moves with how much raw footage there is to watch, not just the finished length.

How do I send you large files?
We set up a shared folder and you drag the files in. No size cap, no compressing first, and no emailing WeTransfer links that expire before anyone opens them. A day of multicamera footage is normal for us.

How fast is turnaround?
Three business days from the point we have all the footage and the brief. Retainer clients get 48 hours. The clock starts when the last file lands, so partial uploads are the usual reason a delivery slips.

What if the footage has problems?
We watch everything before quoting and tell you what can be fixed and what cannot. Wind noise, missed focus and heavily clipped audio have real limits. You get an honest read rather than an invoice for eight hours of rescue work that leaves it still looking rough.

Do you keep my raw footage?
Backed up for 90 days after delivery, then deleted unless you ask us to hold it longer. Retainer clients get rolling storage for the length of the engagement. The files are yours and we return them on request at any point.

Can you match our existing style?
Yes. Send two or three videos you already like and we will match the pacing, titling and grade. On a retainer we build a template in month one so everything after that is consistent without you having to ask.

Do you write scripts or shoot the video?
Neither. We edit what you send. If a project needs filming we will recommend a crew we trust, and if it needs animating rather than filming, that is a different service we do offer.

Who owns the finished video?
You do, along with the project file if you ask for it. Music licences are the one thing passed to you as a licence rather than ownership, and we tell you which track carries which terms.

What happens to unused retainer cuts?
Two roll over into the following month. Beyond that they expire, because an editor's month is capacity we have already held for you. We will flag it at week three if you are running under.
